Loving Me.

Unconditional love and self-acceptance, easy on the days when you feel on top of the world and like everything is going your way! When you are feeling discomfort of any kind it starts to become much harder to feel that love for self, yet the path to ultimate happiness usually involves spending time with dis-ease. I talk about sitting with the uneasy stuff a lot and I do my best to be present with it, but sometimes you just want it to go away without doing anything clever or enlightened, I just want to feel better!

When it’s actually a physical reaction you might be having, for example an allergic response to something, it seems much harder to combat with tools such as meditation or tapping. When you’re having powerful symptoms that are impacting you and making you feel sick, you tend to feel that a straightforward physical remedy is what’s needed. And that may be true, but you can still always change the way that you are perceiving the situation.

So I guess I measure my success in life in some ways, by the way I handle the uncomfortable bits. It seems like a balance between accepting what is, and looking at what needs to change, after all the uneasy stuff is generally pointing in the direction of things that need to be changed. Or perhaps it would be better to say that we need to simply let go of what is not working for us,  and as that goes we can see much more clearly that which does work, and that has always been there underneath all the crap.

On the day you read this post I will be in the middle of packing and sorting and chucking as I get clarity on the physical stuff that has been in storage for so long. No time for writing posts while that’s going on, so I will let you know after the dust has settled, if I manage to get through this process in a way that is successful by my definition.

Loving me, loving all things, loving this life………….love is all you need.

The Future City.

It amazes me that one can still speak to people sometimes who don’t seem to comprehend what unsustainable actually means, there’s a kind of sheep mentality that thinks we can keep treating our environment and each other the way that we are, and get away with it. Luckily I live in a place where most of the people are aware, we don’t all necessarily think the same way about it, but we do all acknowledge that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Alex Steffen describes it as stealing the future, selling it in the present, and calling it GDP.

He says that when we look to move to renewable energy we are actually tackling a problem that can’t be solved, with the growing urban population operating in the way it generally does now, we could never generate sufficient energy by any means. I’m not sure if I completely agree with this notion, but I do like what he is putting forward as an alternative, cities need to be re-designed so that space is shared more efficiently. Rather than owning certain pieces of equipment, such as a power drill, we would have access to the service when we need it.

Buildings also need to become more efficient, using the breeze for cooling, sunlight for heating and light, utilise systems where they collect rainwater that can then be used to create gardens and perhaps connect to the rivers.  Alex mentions pollination pathways so that butterflies and bees are invited back into the urban environment, to me it sounds like a much more life and people oriented philosophy than is currently operating in our cities.

The more dense a city the lower the emissions according to Alex, this is because people don’t actually own cars, they use public transport, they walk, and they ride bicycles. This too needs to be incorporated into the design of our future cities, having become a country girl I tend to think a bit negatively about cities, but like anything, it’s all in the perception. Cities can be opportunities to do things differently and to do them better than before, much of this is already happening around the world and if we are to survive as humans on this planet it needs to become our new way of being.

Futurist Alex Steffen is excited about the cities of the future. We live in a rapidly urbanizing world, and this is a good thing. The density brings many unforeseen blessings, shedding the car is just one of them.
We will no longer be talking about the dream house, but rather the dream neighborhood. Welcome to his vision!

B3 May Set You Free.

I speak a lot about nutritional approaches to health practices, generally they tend to provide healing without huge costs and support our ability to tap into our own capacity for self-healing. Therfore they have been somewhat suppressed, but it seems that more and more people are finding out about this stuff, I would like every person on the planet who suffers from depression to know about niacin or B3. According to Beyondblue 3 million Australians are currently living with depression or anxiety, I have spoken to many people who were depressed or anxious, panic attacks too.

http://www.beyondblue.org.au/

B3

I don’t know if it would work for every single person but it surely has worked well for many who have tried this remedy, after all Valium is a copy of the chemical structure of niacin, the pharmaceutical industry recognises its potential. Of course there is no money in it for the industry that has done its best to keep out alternative therapies, but it can’t stay that way forever. So if you know someone who is struggling with depression tell them about vitamin B3, they need to do it with a doctor who understands orthomolecular medicine, as the doses are much higher than anyone would usually have. But don’t worry, no-one has ever been killed by vitamins, the same cannot be said of pharmaceutical drugs however.

It makes sense to me that there are remedies in our own internal pharmacopeia that can help with mental health issues, so much of what creates our worldly identity is chemical/emotional. There is so much less nutrition in the western diet these days, there are a lot of toxic drugs with dubious benefits that people start taking in their lives, and as they get older the list gets longer. Could the rise in dementia have anything to do with that toxic cocktail that many of us end up on as we get older.

Of course for me the rise is in organic fruits and vegetables, certified organic pro-biotic, chia seeds, kale, less or no refined sugar, I don’t take the drugs that doctors like to write prescriptions for, don’t go to doctors much at all!

Even severe, chronic depressions have been lifted with high dose Niacin.
Most if not all psychiatric disorders are rooted in some mineral and/or nutritional deficiency. The good news is, they can easily be corrected, with no drugs, and no chemical dependency!
Also no money for the pharmaceutical industry but that’s OK, they have enough money.

Inception.

A dream within a dream………within a dream……that is within yet another dream……interesting concept, I’ve done it in meditation, its fun to see how far you can go back, the watcher watching the watcher and so on. The film Inception does a nice job of playing with realities as a team go into the subconscious realm of somebody’s mind. They plan to go down into three layers  of dream, in the end it is even deeper than they had planned, four realities operating simultaneously all heading for a collision point, the shock providing the kick back into current time reality.

Inception: A film by Christopher Nolan, with Leonardo di Caprio.

Inception: A film by Christopher Nolan, with Leonardo di Caprio.

So all the people in these worlds are projections of the mind of the person we are inside, some would say that is true of the current moment humanity finds itself in. If everyone around you is a projection of you what is that telling you about yourself, doesn’t mean taking on other people’s stuff however, or stealing energy. It’s an idea, and this film really examines the power of an idea, the seed of a thought and how it can grow, shows the manifestation process in some ways, in the guise of an action film. Not normally my cup of tea so much but the costumes and cinematography are extremely well done, the acting of a very high standard, and the idea of four realities operating simultaneously keeps it interesting.

If you ever want to experiment with meditation then try stepping back from the deep space you have come to and begin to watch yourself do this. As you get more practice you may be able to step back again, and again, and so on……..it can be a lot of fun. And you will find that it does actually take you even deeper, it brings in the visual more strongly for me, and that helps the drop into deeper layers of reality.

Watch Inception for a nice bending of the mind, not that hard to keep it all hanging together but fun to contemplate for the space of a couple of hours.

Oranges And Lemons.

I’ve written about this before and I’m sure I will again, at the risk of repeating myself, how on earth did we end up living in a world based on money and greed, where the few dictate to the many. I speak to people in distress on the phone every week, and there is so much of that suffering that could quite possibly be alleviated by some extremely simple remedies. Not just cancer but that is of course one of the biggies, I doubt there is anyone in the western world that has not had some kind of experience with cancer, if not themselves then family or friends.

Juicy orange

There are many alternative therapies but the one that I am focusing on right now is orthomolecular medicine, it uses extremely high doses of vitamins to treat a range of issues. Andrew Saul PhD who you can hear speak on the Food Matters dvd, says that the first doctor to use vitamin c in this way in the 1940’s had great success with a huge range of diseases, yet his work was ignored by the medical community at large. Check out this article by Andrew on the Food Matters web site, there is also a video of a mainstream news report on the subject, seems the word is finally getting out there: http://foodmatters.tv/articles-1/did-you-know-that-vitamin-c-can-treat-over-30-major-diseases And here is another news report saying much the same thing: http://www.nextworldtv.com/page/23929.html

Maybe it doesn’t work with all types of cancer, but surely it makes sense to try something that actually targets the cancer cells, unlike chemotherapy which destroys everything in its path. There is no doubt that nutritional deficiencies are at the root of much of the diseases that afflict modern society, doctors actually need to be taught this as it does not currently feature much in their curriculum. I probably know more about the subject than a lot of medical practitioners, and I am so not technically minded!

But if you are in a place where you are not sick, then do consider how you might supplement your diet, you know the old saying, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of  cure. Since I’ve been having omega 3’s in my diet every day I’ve noticed that I don’t feel the cold as much as I used to, my feet used to get cold easily and it would be hard to warm them up again, but that just isn’t the case anymore.

The Heart Of Attunement.

A while ago I spoke about channeling, for me it usually comes through automatic writing, either that or I simply find that I ‘know’ things. My writing is signed with various names, the Archangel Michael, Mary and my personal favourite, Saint Germain. It was St Germain who really opened up the realm of spirit for me in the mid 1980’s, he was coming through a woman called Azena Ramanda and I had the good fortune to discover him along with my mother and brother when we were living in Darwin.

Lord_Saint_Germain

At the end of this post you will find a link to an interview where you can hear Azena talking about her experience of being a channel, then be entertained and enlivened by St Germain speaking through her body. To me it is quite clear that it is a different person, in fact it is clearly a masculine energy, nothing like Azena herself. Watching him after such a long time I feel the same affection and pleasure that comes with being in that presence, not only is there great profundity, there is also a fabulous sense of humour. Perhaps it is because I am something of a wordsmith myself, I particularly appreciate St Germain’s wonderful use of language to convey his message.

I never got caught up in the debate over whether or not it was real, for me it was about being in that presence, receiving the messages, a process that changed me for evermore. I’ve seen other channels and there are some wonderful people out there doing amazing work, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for my first experience of this phenomenon. He did not stay with us in this form for very long, and I am quite grateful for this, as it meant there was never any temptation for me to get stuck on him as a guru outside of myself. Not that I have anything against gurus, it just isn’t a part of my path, I have continued to communicate with St Germain ever since, he is one of my greatest teachers.

This clip is very old but apart from a couple of glitches it works well, it’s part 1 of 4 so if you enjoy St Germain as much as I do check them all out, I certainly will take a trip down memory lane when I get the chance, the information he is conveying is as relevant today as it was then.

Insanity Rules!

I talk quite a bit about vested interests in my writings, these are organisations and sometimes individuals, who actually seem to believe that money and power are more important than people being happy and living a sustainable life. I still haven’t worked out what their plan is when the planet can no longer sustain life, do they really have space ships hidden somewhere so they can run away when everything has been destroyed!

But there probably isn’t much use in trying to make sense of it, perhaps the role of the vested interests in the larger scale of things, is to help people to wake up. There certainly does seem to be a tendency in us humans to require big kicks up the bum to really get going on the process of becoming empowered. The people of Tecoma in the Dandenong are very much in that process, they are trying to keep MacDonald’s out of their town. They petitioned the council and won but MacDonald’s didn’t leave it there, they put in an appeal just before christmas and with their deep pockets for the best lawyers, they won.

But the community of Tecoma didn’t give up, they are continuing to protest and to blockade the planned building site, the latest news is that MacDonald’s were going to try to stop them through the high court. A man who had heard about it came looking for the person in charge of the blockade so he could give them $250 for legal expenses. Sounds like Tecoma has discovered its strength as a community.

Never  doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world;  indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

In the Occupy movement there was a lot of talk about the 99% waking up, the truth of the matter is that there are a lot more of us.  If we can learn how to come together non-violently to make our wishes known, if the protest movement can be fluid and creative and use the amazing technological resources now available at the tap of a key. If we can learn how to be in our hearts as we do what needs to be done to save ourselves and our environment, if we can do all these things…………there is hope for us yet.

I Am Everything.

There are times when I manage to cruise even when I have a lot to do, it’s the everything always works out every other time, so why shouldn’t it this time frame of mind that I am referring to here. When you surrender to that flow then somehow it all fits in, and if you’ve made the choice not to stress well even better! I am getting clearer and clearer on the ways in which we are always choosing how to respond to whatever might be going on, and there is always a way that involves letting go to what is, acceptance and trust.

I find myself very grounded in red, the red shoes are ushering in a new strength in the base, full of earth, rich tigers eye for the solar plexus and solid jasper for the heart and the throat. Being fully in that heart space, softly in coherence, gently glowing and softening, dropping down, down………..I am the earth and the earth is me.

I still arrive, in order to laugh and to cry.

to fear and to hope.

The rhythm of my heart is the birth and death

of all that is alive.

I am a mayfly metamorphosing

on the surface of the river.

And I am the bird

that swoops down to swallow the mayfly.

From “Please Call Me By My True Names” by Thich Nhat Hanh.

I am the wind and I am the sunshine, the moon is a part of me as are the tides that her influence controls, my blood flows through me just as water flows through the rivers and creeks. I am everything, and everything is me…………..

My Guru, My Guru.

I used to think that Gurus were not such a great idea, it seemed to me that in order to have one you had to give away your power, and I was doing that enough without adding to it! I guess it would have been St Germain that would have been my guru but he was temporary in coming through Azena Ramanda, so I moved on to direct communication after that. Not being attached to a particular form, he brings me messages in many different ways. I thought having a guru on earth might be a bit of a drawback, taking the focus away from self, but after hearing stories of their guru, from Krishna Das and Ram Das, I have a different perspective.

They can be a doorway into that deeper dive into the self, into the quantum field of raw potential, a true guru will not take your power. What you choose to give away is your business, enjoy the stepping up into the limelight as you empower yourself with every step. A true guru will assist you in finding coherence, where the heart and the head and everything else is vibrating at just the right frequency, that of love. You can go there in so many ways, keep exploring doorways, it’s the evolution into a spiritual future, enlightenment.

I am my own guru these days, getting clearer and clearer on that one, developing the shamanic pathways for healing, bodywork, psychic/aura readings, sound healing, holistic counselling, writing/teaching. Lots of fun and inspiration to be had, bit more tech savvy would be good, me learning or help, don’t mind which one. But gurus can connect you to the place in yourself where you ARE LOVE, they can inspire and uplift in all sorts of different ways. Ram Dass is a guru no doubt to many, adepts or addicts, need to get stuck and then eventually be free of method, in the end we are all one in the unified field of consciousness that Rupert Sheldrake talks about, he and Bruce Lipton finally met properly and this is the conversation, its long but well worth it!

In India when we meet and part we often say, ‘Namaste’, which means: I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides; I honor the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace. I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us.

I Am Whole, Ohm Shanti…..

I’m getting stronger and stronger as I continue to integrate the intense learnings that have dominated my year so far, with each shift more of me is available to life, the universe, and everything! And this is just as well because I’m sure that things will be moving more and more quickly as the vibration of the earth itself is moving into new frequencies. I am going to clear clutter so I can move cleanly into this new life that is unfolding in each moment on my wonder filled journey into a Golden New Age, the journey into the fullness of us all!

spiritualenergy

I find myself issuing challenges to life and aspects of me that fill me with excitement rather than fear, always a lesson to be learned and always a light at the end of the tunnel. The challenge of organising posts for while I am away south, is showing me how I can see the pieces as part of a tapestry and be a bit ahead of myself as a matter of course. So I am seeing the larger pattern that is my account in through the vortex, fun to get the posts in just the right order for maximum impact!

Writing these short pieces certainly is a format that one refines as one goes, each one is carefully crafted till it is just right, or good enough in some cases, yet there is always someone who loves it. When you are creating something new, there is this kind of zing you get when it’s exactly right, the rhythms of poetic flow, visuals and video, quotes………….the whole picture.

christenergy

This is a really nice description of holistic healing and the human energy field, getting a flow with all of these, so that they are in alignment with each other, is my intention, so be it, so be it, so be it…………ohm shanti, blissings and love…….
