Feeling a little hemmed in where I am at my market today and wondering what this is symbolising for me at the moment. Perhaps it is time to move on from this wonderful warm space where I find part of my family or tribe, I have a sense of belonging and connection and it is this that keeps bringing me here. It’s a beautiful energy exchange but there is another path unfolding, as my Beloved and I settle into a life together we will have times apart to do stuff and mine may be to look at the earning online as a writer idea that’s been kicking around for a while now!
Harness your moon stallion!
Check out this website with some great reflections on the value of tuning into your moon time ladies, harness your moon stallion! http://www.elephantjournal.com/2011/09/harness-your-moon-time-stallion-nicole-maniez/
But just for today I am going to relax into the space of my moon time, as I sit here writing I can feel the deep earthing energy drawing me deep within myself. Anyone who does have a reading from me today will get a particularly good one, feeling very open as a channel for spirit today. Then back to my bush sanctuary where I feel the spirit of the land very keenly, it’s different to the fairy cottage I looked after almost a year ago, but there is still a deep, rather subtle connection going on.
Came home to my retreat to find the power off and so couldn’t do much, not even a cuppa, sat with my Beloved and watched the peaceful water of the pond. Letting go into the depths of the mother I did a reading for my love and that flowed as easily as the readings I did at market earlier on.
Spiraling down into the swirling depths and layers of the feminine, the unconscious, the unknown………….the mystery.

I keep thinking about the house sit I did back in May/June, and how it felt to be living on land that I felt a deep connection with, it truly is the happiest that I’ve been in years. And it was also during a time when very difficult stuff was coming up for me, being in a place where I felt so held made a tough time easier to navigate. Reflecting back upon all the different places I’ve lived, I’m trying to recall if that feeling has been there at other times. I can only think of one other place that has felt like that to me, it was during a period when I was getting fit and exploring the spiritual and psychic realms thirteen years ago.
I was living in a tumbledown house on the river bank in an area that I had wanted to live in for a long time, before I actually moved there I would sometimes drive down to the river and sit there in my car, just feeling the energy of the place. I started off in a good place with my house mate, but it slowly deteriorated until things had become very challenging, and we ended up with another person in the house whose energy was very dark. It could have been a nightmare but I remember that time as incredibly productive, I was doing an hour of yoga a day, taking long walks, meditating and toning, exploring crystals and my psychic abilities.
Obviously I was doing a lot of positive activities which on their own could probably account for me being in a good space in spite of the growing tension at home. But when I consider the power and security that comes with a feeling of belonging to the land, I can see that this played a huge part in my journey. It meant I felt safe enough to venture out into unknown territory, the dark energy that kept trying to drain me was a challenge that I met joyfully and most successfully. The Aboriginal people have that deep connection to the land, these forest sculptures by William Ricketts capture a sense of this relationship.

I have the sense of belonging in my community with the people around me, and that has been incredibly sustaining as I’ve continued on my healing path. But it may well be time to start looking for that home where the land sings through my feet, it almost feels as though a particular place is calling out to me. Who knows how long it will take me to find it, but to manifest this into reality I need to let spirit know that I am ready.
Great Spirit, Gaia, Durga……………please support me as I search for the place where I can most clearly hear your voice, feel your presence, the place that I may call home. So be it, so be it, so be it.

Gather in the souls, be sure of your connections, your community, be there for your community in the way that serves both you and the wider picture, in a way that serves you and all life everywhere. The more we can really connect in a heart centred way, gaze into the soul of another being, without judgement, love ourselves and others just for being ourselves. Life can be quite simple at the core, supply certain basic needs with ease and we have time to explore elegant solutions to the so-called problems of civilisation.
The main problem being that civilisation is a bit of a misnomer, we are extremely primitive in this current culture, indigenous cultures have a lot to teach us about what really counts on our journey on this planet. Being in your heart as much as you can, trusting your intuition, being sustainable in your practices, becoming what you want to create, spiritual alignment, inner peace, having a sense of belonging.
The time for hermitting is over, time to gather in the hearts and the souls with which you resonate and to celebrate, connect and connect, with love and with joy…………………… So don’t sit at home and hide, life is waiting for you to engage, what are you waiting for??????????
We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been – a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. Community means strength that joins our strength to do the work that needs to be done. Arms to hold us when we falter. A circle of healing. A circle of friends. Someplace where we can be free.
