A Life Fragrant With Gratitude: Be In Your Heart.

hearttreeApologies to those reading my posts at the moment, they have suddenly lost their format and the lovely picture of me toning my name seems to have completely disappeared! I don’t have time to do more than write my post so will have to hope that someone somewhere is frantically working to fix the sorry mess and that I will come back to my beautiful creation to find it is in harmony again. (Seems like it is now sorted and it was only going wonky at my end!)  Thinking of what I am grateful for helps to bring me back into my heart, the best place to be no matter what is going on around me.

PinkOshoFlowerPoem

Gratefulness in the character is like fragrance in the flower.

A person however learned and qualified in his life’s work, in
whom gratefulness is absent, is devoid of that beauty of character
which makes the personality fragrant.

If we answer every little deed of kindness with appreciation,
we develop in our nature the spirit of gratefulness; and by
learning this we rise to that state where we begin to realize
God’s goodness toward us, and for this we can never be grateful
enough to His/Her divine compassion.

The great Sufi poet Sa’di teaches gratefulness as being the means
of attracting that favour, forgiveness, and mercy of God upon us
in which is the salvation of our soul.

There is much in life that we can be grateful for, in spite of all the
difficulties and troubles of life.  Sa’di says, “The sun and moon,
and the rain and clouds, all are busy to prepare your food for you,
and it is unfair indeed if you do not appreciate it in thanksgiving.”

God’s goodness is something one cannot learn to know at once; it
takes time to understand it.  But little actions of kindness which we
receive from those around us we can know, and we can be thankful
if we want to be.  In this way man develops gratefulness in his nature,
and expresses it in his thought, speech, and action as an exquisite

form of beauty.

And perhaps the magic of gratitude will help to smooth the path as I feel the movement of ancient fears, they sit in my heart in this moment and the trick is to let them keep moving, sit with the feeling. I have made moves to find a time to do my next therapy session, possibly tomorrow and my body is beginning to respond to my intention. Anyway, it’s all good, life is a grand opportunity for a rich array of beingness to be inhaled and explored, the oneness from which we all come!

Burning The Darkness Away: Healing The Body.

inner-fireThe story continues, I am getting very strong physical symptoms that have emerged out of the energies that have been moving through me. They are dark and painful and that is the feeling as my bladder feels like to burst, I am sitting with the feelings and letting them move, also doing spontaneous healing visualisations. Of course I am supposed to be going to see a doctor but I am hoping to avoid that strategy, knocking this out with antibiotics won’t do anything to address the energetic source of the complaint.

The stuff I am letting go of is all about sexual energy, aspects of that force that have been warped and morphed into something that interferes with connection  to source, to the bottomless sea of bliss. Somehow I am keeping that silver cord attached even as I feel the intensity and pressure in my bladder, it is a bit like being in two realities at once. I have a friend who has often described me as living on the edge and she is rather accurate I think, this is not fun at all but I am stubborn so am hanging in there and giving my body a chance to heal itself.

Makes focusing on a post a bit difficult but it is also quite useful to put my thoughts into writing, once again the act of putting words to paper helps me to move things along. When I’m done with this post I will have to do some serious focusing on getting the healing done, time to truly let go of that which has held my life-force energy back from its full expression. And on the other side of that story is a new chapter in my life which almost feels like starting all over again, but with a lot more wisdom and knowledge than the first time.

Bringing conscious awareness to everything can make the passage through life easier to navigate, just as a sailor is attuned to the moods of the sea, we can tune into our own and the planet’s flow. Bring it all into harmony and true alignment, this is what I must do………..I will let you know how I get along!

It’s Darkest Before The Dawn.

If the world is a reflection of me then what an earth was I thinking, time to let go of the old bits and pieces lying around, covered in cob webs and giving succour to spiders and other denizens of the micro world. If I can clean the whole house from top to bottom, this aching weariness may dissolve and I will spiral in joyful flight into a future that is a blank page, waiting for me to paint my picture!

So ’tis time to let the imagination run wild and to lift this particular soul into a heaven on earth, an earthly choir that rivals the heavenly kind, with halos and glowing auras aglow in the soft moonlight. Sounds of laughter and music and celebration abound in this place of peace, combining solitude with connection in just the right balance, like yin and yang, sun and moon………….masculine and feminine.

Bodies filled with vigour and life, taking in the warm sunshine of nature renewed and loved, cared for with the tenderness we offer to the tiny child just departed from the womb, still attached to the placental source of all nourishment. No longer needing to break the softness of entry with blazing lights and harsh first breath, the world has become a safe place for you and me, for us all.

As I move into completeness of self, my light adds to the growing brilliance beginning to light up the world, more and more souls are joining the awakening of spirit, ushering in an age of harmony and love. Even as the darkness may seem to grow and prosper, know that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, not just for me, but for all of us, for all of us…………….

It’s always darkest before the dawn
when your world is weary,
when all is dark,
when dreams die and fade away,
and all of life is stark,
take heart in gentle love,
for she waits in the wings,
and where she walks,
fairies dance and angels sing,
though you cannot see her,
she weaves a silken touch,
leaving footprints in the sand,
sprinkling spells and such,
lighting the dampened corridors,
the dark corners of your mind,
leaving you breathless,
bewildered by her kind,
goodness glints in her eyes,
hope is in her arms,
and all you’ve ever dreamed of,
rests sweetly in her charms.

Oh Mind Be Free.

Walking the fine line between purpose and doing too much, coaxing my lovely body to fulfill the great tasks I ask it to contemplate and carry out, balancing being with running around in happy connection with a beautiful world. ‘Tis the mind that is the rub, careering ahead into the future and picking up deliveries of stress and worry as it goes, wanting to know EVERYTHING, even the unknowable. Wanting, wanting, wanting………….always focused on what it doesn’t yet have, or the pain of past losses, monkey mind needs no whip to keep itself on track, self-flagellation the sport it likes the best!

Adrenalin shoots into cells that only ever wanted to be happy and free, and suddenly aches and pains begin to colour this perfect world, the peaceful place that asks us just to be. A simple request from a physical creation that will do whatever it takes to bring us back into the truth of who we be, ignore your own wisdom at your peril for it shall always have the last word. And isn’t peace what we all truly desire in the end, there will always be weather in this particular sea, but the water has no agenda, it shapes itself according to everything else finding harmony and love in the dance.

I caress my mind and soothe its many fears and doubts, telling it that it’s not alone, never alone, the larger self will always be there to hold the container of life. Remembering that this journey is supposed to be fun, beer and skittles and love, dancing to great music, making music and flying to the moon and back again. When I release the past and future possibility, allow myself to be fully present in this moment, I wave a magic wand and hey presto, there is absolutely nothing to worry about!

Blooming Buildings!

Once again I am on the move! House sitting certainly satisfies my need for variety, having to shift my stuff from place to place a small price to pay for the stimulation of new surroundings, new energies. The room I am sitting in as I write this is full of odd angles and curves, it’s so different from the usual right angles that you find in most houses and buildings generally. I can feel my spirit responding to this environment with pleasure and joy, it enriches my soul. The type of architecture that is common these days really exemplifies the sterile, rationalist approach that is so much less than we are capable of as creative beings.

The artist and architect Hundertwasser was a great exponent of buildings that are in harmony with nature, and thus also more friendly to human beings too! I love his paintings but his buildings are even more inspiring,

Can you imagine what it would be like to live in a world where we are surrounded by interesting shapes, colours and textures, buildings that are also gardens that are not only beautiful to behold but that also provide us with delicious and healthy food. This is not some utopian pipe dream, all around the world people are finding amazing  and creative ways to interact in harmony with our environment as well as meet our basic human needs.

Even in the heart of Paris you can find lush gardens where you would least expect, in an urban environment where there is no space to plant a tree, Patrick Blanc has created vertical gardens!

Welcome to Paris, where an entire building
pulses with lush green life and beauty.

Patrick Blanc is a groundbreaking
botanist and designer that creates
magical gardens out of building
exteriors in urban areas.

the water in a hydroponic loop.

Imagine bringing walls of green
life to our cities everywhere…
