Words and thoughts concerning compassionate action that are not put into practice are like beautiful flowers that are colourful but have no fragrance.
Thich Nhat Hanh.
If you are interested in manifesting new opportunities in your life the process of visioning is most important, as is the letting go of anything that might get in the way of that vision. But unless you take whatever the appropriate action is to carry that forward into your living experience, it remains a glimpse into the raw field of quantum potential.
Find your practice, your method, and let your enthusiasm create a discipline that through repetition gives birth to new sensitivities and understandings. To truly go all the way with your method you must allow yourself to be seduced, this is when obsession becomes your ally, along with whatever symbols are significant for you in your journey. But at some point there needs to be a letting go or breaking down of your method or practice, remain rigid and you will begin to lose the insights and be doing it for its own sake. A bit like the self-sustaining beaurocracy that has forgotten that it is in service to the community, and is lost in the ego filled sea, or cloud of unknowing.
So I am interested in manifesting my soulmate or partner, just by shifting my frequency I can begin to become an attractor, but if I stay at home no-one will see me. Of course the whole being an attractor is quite subtle, the thing is to be out enjoying one’s life, notice what is coming into your orbit and from this raw material allow the new beginning to manifest. I’m having lots of fun and lots of connections with nice men, and no pressure to do anything other than be myself in the process, feels very empowering.

It all began with the oil pulling, and ended up with me in a state of bliss, feeling enormous gratitude for my wonderful life! You gotta love the ups and downs of existence, provided you know what to do with the bits that feel uncomfortable, they are actually great moments of opportunity if you play your cards right.
Having had a very strange day, I arrived for two hours of dancing feeling an undercurrent of tension, that had nothing to do with where I was or the people I was with. Dancing is always a liberating act for me, but even so I could feel tension around my mouth, and thoughts of lack and scarcity, powered by fear, kept floating up.
I consciously danced them out of my body, when the negative thoughts came I cancelled them, and created new thoughts, “I am Abundant and life is a flow that brings me everything I could ever need or want!” It was a bit challenging at first but I persisted, and slowly but surely I began to feel joy infusing my being. My smile went from being a trifle forced, to a genuine expression of my awakening spirit.
When I came home I managed to bring a dragonfly into my room, it was perched on my skirt and I had to leave it inside, it was flying so high there was no chance of catching it and taking it outside. After dinner I went out again and when I came home the dragonfly was easily caught and released into the garden, a great relief.
The dragonfly represents transformation, and the ability to be flexible and adapt to the ebb and flow of events, the frog is also associated with this totem and can mean abundance, and is connected strongly to water which is the element that represents emotions. So I interpret that as the shifting of old feelings and patterns of thinking, that have stood in the way of me stepping into the fullness of who I am, and allowing myself to experience true abundance on every level of my being.
May the Abundant Universe unfold, as I spread my wings and FLY!!

A major feature of my experience of these times we are living in is that anything you haven’t yet dealt with is going to be in your face. If you notice yourself having a big reaction to something that is not really in proportion to what has actually occurred then there is a fair chance that you are facing an opportunity to clear something big. This is when crisis can be a doorway to shedding the past and entering into new ways of being. A beautiful illustration of this can be seen in the chinese character for crisis, which is made up of two symbols, one means danger and the other means opportunity.
I am staring my attitude of lack and scarcity right in the face at the moment and I don’t like what I see or feel at all. This festive season has been good for me but there have also been some drawbacks and it is mostly to do with me not taking proper time off because I need to keep working, not because I am a workaholic but because there isn’t enough in the bank account.
According to the Laws of Manifestation I am not even supposed to be speaking of what I don’t have, I’ve always found that one a bit tricky and maybe that is why I haven’t made the big shift yet. For the truth is that I have made huge progress, the money that I do earn all comes through doing work that I enjoy, that gives meaning and purpose to my life.
So I sit with my feelings, and while the mind can help with intellectual understandings, it is the intuition coming from the heart that is truly my guiding light in the darkness of old fears and monsters under the bed. The heart has its own wisdom and there is a physiological basis for this, half the cells in our heart are identical to brain cells. Apparently they have discovered brain cells in the gut too, makes a lot of sense when you thing about ‘gut feelings’.
Just writing all of this helps me to shift my feelings somewhat, journalling is a wonderful self-development tool and one that I have used a lot over the years. It is a bit different doing it so publicly, I have a lot of shame over being in lack and to put it out where anyone can see feels very challenging. So be compassionate in your thoughts as you read this and I will try to do the same for myself.
With kindness and compassion and a huge dollop of gratitude for the abundance and beauty of life!
