Moving Haze: Taking Care Of Myself.

This is going to be a very short post, I’ve just spent two days moving out of our bush paradise back into town and I’ve hardly stopped all day and now it’s time to take care of myself. I don’t want to re-blog something without some kind of good reason so I decided to just be totally honest with you and make this really brief and to the point.

There are times when you have to let go of things you would like to achieve in order to take care of yourself, on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, whatever you may need. Yes I could have had a post prepared early but it didn’t happen, if you stick with me and read future blogs they will come from someone whose brain is actually functioning. I promise you it will be fun, informative and sometimes even a bit profound.

But for now farewell and goodnight, sweet dreams to you all, or sweet sunshine depending on your time zone!

Until further notice celebrate everything! ( St Germain through Azena Ramanda).

50 Is The New Evergreen: Be Yourself!

50th-birthday

Today I am fifty! Well actually the truth is I’m not there yet at the time of this writing, but it will come out on the day and I have been contemplating the meaning of this cycle for myself for some time now. Some people see life in seven-year cycles, that makes seven sevens is forty-nine, all those sevens have a very mystical feel to them. So my final year of a big cycle was very challenging at times but as I drew towards the end of the year I began to see the harvest of so much of what I have sown over the last twelve years.

Gotta love those triggers!

Gotta love those triggers!

For a lot of that year I was writing a post every day so I actually have a wonderful record of a time of great transformation, very painful sometimes but each trigger is blessed for what it helped me to release. I finally finished the job of re-building my self-esteem in this period of time and I feel I can safely say that I LOVE who I am even when I stuff things up! And a mistake is often enough one of those triggers that helps to bring up whatever is in need of acknowledgement and release, feel the feeling and then let it go.

I am firmly in the new chapter of my life even as tendrils from the old one reach out to me, they can help me to know what there is that does not resonate with WHO I REALLY AM. My relationship is my main spiritual practice at the moment which is as much fun as I always imagined it would be, not without challenges  but with both of us on the same page I always feel very supported.

And younger every day, there is more and more of me  available to play with, so no wonder everything starts to glow. Thank you Great Spirit,  Gaia, St Germain……Demeter, Lilith and the Arch Angel Michael, deep gratitude for being alive and being embodied, and having the opportunity to play a part at this important time for the planet. Lets make it  a good time, remember there is always a choice!

So be it, so be it, so be it………….Love and blissings.

From The Stillness to Salvation, With Bliss The Medicine Of Choice!

funny-dog-yoga-pose

Intense little period of activity, writing and writing in a much smaller pressure cooker which is sandwiched with languid delight and lots of satisfaction if not a lot of sleep. A recipe to be happy for me in this moment, open to the flow of energy as it charts new pathways long visioned and desired, blood running hot, a slow, sensual way of being that needs to be relaxed into. Yoga reflects this slow movement, spending long moments in stillness of pose, letting go into muscles slowly moving towards their edge, restorative pose with all the support I need, savasana……….still space edged with impatience!

kookaburra

Dancing from moment to moment with animal companions snuggling, kookaburra flies in to deliver his message of truth, passion and laughter, the end of the journey of healing, new growth has already begun. For a full description of this animal totem check this link out: http://solacetemple.wordpress.com/2007/11/10/kookaburra-a-spirit-bird/ Enjoying the space with just me in it even as I long to be entwined once again, one being re-united into the form of two polarities, going in and coming out, out into the cosmos and the stillness, bringing back all of that, into the merge.

Being intensely present to the scene around me, like a movie, and the one on the outside is getting more like the one I play regularly in my temple every day! You can assume by my positive tone that this is a good thing and you would be correct, my outer world has shifted massively in tune with movement in the inner realms, the flow of healthy, happy energy gives one rather a buoyant feeling in fact. I can feel that healing occurring on every level of my being, from the physical to all of the mental, spiritual, emotional realms that form the person that be me in this particular incarnation.

The more that your life force energy flows wherever it needs to, the happier you will be, even if the road is sometimes a little stony or steep, that effort and the surrender to the flow will bring light unto your sight, truth from your lips, warmth to the heart. And remember what St Germain always used to say:

“Until further notice, celebrate everything!”

Dance And Sing The Dream!

We left my counselling session with me chucking away big black blobs that were interrupting the flow of energy in my body, with a little bit of help from my friends, Germain and Michael. This was only the half way point in the process, the next step was to put something more positive in the vacated areas of my being, to fill the space as it were. I ought to mention too, we made sure to purify and transmute the negative energy that was pulled out of me, leave it lying around and it may just end up coming back in. I used St Germain’s violet flame to do this but you could use anything you want, maybe imagine elves tickling the darkness into light and laughter, the only limit is your imagination.

I decided on the qualities I wanted to bring in and arranged them into two sections, the first was self-confidence, authenticity and inspiration, for this I called on St Germain. The other was self-care and nurturing of self and others as well as inner peace, and it was the feminine energy of Mother Mary who came to assist me. For each of these I moved my body and made sounds, Germain was full of laughter and Mary was soft, I found myself caressing my body with great tenderness, in both cases I could feel the appropriate energies coming in very strongly. I did a drawing for each and they are up on my wall now where I can see them easily, it is a beautiful reminder of the positives I am drawing into my life and being.

I have felt a big difference in myself since my session, part of my homework was to ground myself by doing a daily exercise that involves saying my name to the nine directions and then stamping my feet as I say, “I am here, I am safe.” I can safely say that this does work to ground me, I’m also making sure that I touch my bare skin to the earth every day, just holding my staff against my forehead does this really well.

Jean Houston talks about how some African tribes approach problem solving, they dance, sing and dream about the issues as a way of finding solutions. When we do this we are using much more of the totality of who we really are, bringing in our right brains where our genius lies. So if you are trying to solve problems in your life see if you can bring in more of your fullness as you contemplate whatever it is you are trying to achieve, it’s more fun too, and that can only be a good thing!

The Body Remembers.

Isn’t it wonderful how exactly what you need turns up at precisely the perfect moment, I’m talking about a holistic counselling session I had a couple of days ago. A friend who is studying was looking for guinea pigs, and so I thought why not, I didn’t really think I needed a session, but it’s always interesting to experience different approaches to therapy. If you happened to read my post “The Truth Of The Heart” a couple of days ago, when I referred to myself as the human yo-yo, you are probably wondering how I could possibly think that I am not in serious need of deep therapy.

All-Screwed-Up

The thing that is on the top of my list of priorities to deal with is the way I keep going into overwhelm and stress, finding income from writing being a part of that but not necessarily the only solution to the issue. So that was what I took to my session, we ended up with a statement about exploring why I feel that way and to move into inspiration, flow, and inner peace. Then I found an actual moment where I had felt the overwhelm very strongly and stepped back into that space, very reluctantly I might add.

I tuned into my body and it was my neck and left shoulder where I was feeling the stress very strongly, it was like a big black blob on my neck blocking the easy flow of energy in my body. And let’s face it, the neck is a fairly critical spot to be all choked up, so it was very freeing to take that blob and throw it away. I kept doing it until it was all gone, then it was the shoulder’s turn, and for that I needed help. So I called in St Germain and the Archangel Michael, Germain held me while Michael used his sword of truth to cut out the black spot in my left shoulder.

The difference after I had done this was very noticeable, the pain in the shoulder was gone and I felt much lighter and happier. Talking therapies can only take you so far, then you need to find ways to access the source of your issues, wherever they might be held in the cells of your body. It wasn’t until I began to experience body based therapies that fundamental change started to happen in my life, even then it took a while, but don’t be dismayed, you may not be as damaged as I was!

More about my session in another post, here is an example of a body based approach known as Gestalt, the child of Fritz Perls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbOAdMdMLdI

The Art Of Non-Conformity.

Don’t you just love it when you are sooooo in the flow that the right person comes along in the perfect moment and gives you the exact piece of information that you never knew you needed until that little shift occurred. It happened to me in a pause from the wild medicine dance that was powered by Balkan grooves in my local community hall. The jigsaw piece was something known as “The Art of Non-Conf0rmity”, and it is giving me heaps of inspiration just from looking at the web site and some blog posts. will buy the book next.

artofnon-conformity

I need to re-invent myself and there actually is quite a bit to work with, just have to decide which bits I want to keep and if there is anything left that still has to go. You wouldn’t expect so with all the shedding I’ve been doing, but one thing this journey has taught me is that there always seems to be more! So what do I love doing that I would be doing anyway so why not get paid for it too, that’s writing of course, but don’t worry I’m not going to ever charge YOU for reading my blog. I’m immensely grateful for those who follow my meanderings, hope you can all stay on for the big part of the journey!

If you would like to check out “The Art of Non-Conformity” by Chris Guillebeau his web-site is http://chrisguillebeau.com/. I am looking forward to having a look at his book, he has a very inspiring way of presenting information and I need the encouragement to get my thinking out of the box. As Einstein said:

We  cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created  them.

“And until further notice, celebrate everything!” St. Germain.

The Heart Of Attunement.

A while ago I spoke about channeling, for me it usually comes through automatic writing, either that or I simply find that I ‘know’ things. My writing is signed with various names, the Archangel Michael, Mary and my personal favourite, Saint Germain. It was St Germain who really opened up the realm of spirit for me in the mid 1980’s, he was coming through a woman called Azena Ramanda and I had the good fortune to discover him along with my mother and brother when we were living in Darwin.

Lord_Saint_Germain

At the end of this post you will find a link to an interview where you can hear Azena talking about her experience of being a channel, then be entertained and enlivened by St Germain speaking through her body. To me it is quite clear that it is a different person, in fact it is clearly a masculine energy, nothing like Azena herself. Watching him after such a long time I feel the same affection and pleasure that comes with being in that presence, not only is there great profundity, there is also a fabulous sense of humour. Perhaps it is because I am something of a wordsmith myself, I particularly appreciate St Germain’s wonderful use of language to convey his message.

I never got caught up in the debate over whether or not it was real, for me it was about being in that presence, receiving the messages, a process that changed me for evermore. I’ve seen other channels and there are some wonderful people out there doing amazing work, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for my first experience of this phenomenon. He did not stay with us in this form for very long, and I am quite grateful for this, as it meant there was never any temptation for me to get stuck on him as a guru outside of myself. Not that I have anything against gurus, it just isn’t a part of my path, I have continued to communicate with St Germain ever since, he is one of my greatest teachers.

This clip is very old but apart from a couple of glitches it works well, it’s part 1 of 4 so if you enjoy St Germain as much as I do check them all out, I certainly will take a trip down memory lane when I get the chance, the information he is conveying is as relevant today as it was then.

My Guru, My Guru.

I used to think that Gurus were not such a great idea, it seemed to me that in order to have one you had to give away your power, and I was doing that enough without adding to it! I guess it would have been St Germain that would have been my guru but he was temporary in coming through Azena Ramanda, so I moved on to direct communication after that. Not being attached to a particular form, he brings me messages in many different ways. I thought having a guru on earth might be a bit of a drawback, taking the focus away from self, but after hearing stories of their guru, from Krishna Das and Ram Das, I have a different perspective.

They can be a doorway into that deeper dive into the self, into the quantum field of raw potential, a true guru will not take your power. What you choose to give away is your business, enjoy the stepping up into the limelight as you empower yourself with every step. A true guru will assist you in finding coherence, where the heart and the head and everything else is vibrating at just the right frequency, that of love. You can go there in so many ways, keep exploring doorways, it’s the evolution into a spiritual future, enlightenment.

I am my own guru these days, getting clearer and clearer on that one, developing the shamanic pathways for healing, bodywork, psychic/aura readings, sound healing, holistic counselling, writing/teaching. Lots of fun and inspiration to be had, bit more tech savvy would be good, me learning or help, don’t mind which one. But gurus can connect you to the place in yourself where you ARE LOVE, they can inspire and uplift in all sorts of different ways. Ram Dass is a guru no doubt to many, adepts or addicts, need to get stuck and then eventually be free of method, in the end we are all one in the unified field of consciousness that Rupert Sheldrake talks about, he and Bruce Lipton finally met properly and this is the conversation, its long but well worth it!

In India when we meet and part we often say, ‘Namaste’, which means: I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides; I honor the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace. I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us.
